Do you have oily skin? What pimple treatment do you use?

If you have oily skin and pimples, please tell me what you use to treat them. I'm not having much luck with mine and i want to see what others are doing.Do you have oily skin? What pimple treatment do you use?
Okay, people never believe me, but the two other people who have tried it for, it has worked for them as well. This may sound crazy, but Herbal Essences Conditioner (Yes, hair conditioner) on my face twice a day cured my acne. Completely. And softened my skin as well. I now use it for shaving my legs too.Do you have oily skin? What pimple treatment do you use?
About a year ago, I had really pimped out skin...litterally...haha

and I started using proactiv and it works great!

Right now, I'm trying something else from Wet %26amp; Wild.

It seems to be working okay, but I think I might go back to Proactiv, cause' it's not working the best....

Hope this helps! : )
PROACTIVE!!!!!!! THIS PIMPLE TREATMENT IS REALLY AS GREAT AS ALL THE ADS SAY IT IS. IT does not irritate my skin, and it heals blemishes, blackheads, whiteheads, and post acne marks easily in about 3 weeks. I felt the same way before, like nothing would work, but when I tried proactive, I knew I didn't have to be all pimple faced any more.
This is the routine i use.

Hiya.

Spots dont disappear very quickly they take a while to go whist the products take effect.

I had spots a while ago and found out that you have to invest in a good skin regeme. I have tried many, neutogena, clean and clear, garnier, este lauder, avon, clinique, clearasil, adee, l'oreal. Out of all of the ones i have used AVON %26amp; CLINIQUE have worked best with me. However everyones skin is different so products will react differently to each persons skin type. Do you use Avon at all. If not i would request a catalog and order some of thier clearskin product range its amazing, it really is.

1-Start with a deep cleanser (with microbeads) to cleanse down inside pores. *Only use a night*

2-Before sleeping put a night treatment moisteriser on or spot treatment, as your skin is most vunrable at night.

3-In the moringin just use water to wash your face, too many product chemicals dont at all help.

4- Use a face mask best suited to your skin type, once a week.

5-Use a exfoliater twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells and leave a healthy complexion.

6- In all products you are looking at purchasing look for the ingrediant Salicytic Acid. This is well know for its anti-bacterial proporties and can help rid the causes of spots.

7- Use a good OIL FREE moisteriser throughout the day. This will give your skin the moisture it needs without making the skin needing to produce oil for moisture- this is what causes spots.

8- Dont use any form of cover up on spots they will all clog pores.

I would also highly reccomend Garnier Pure A as it contains highest levels of salicytic acid. This is one of the product that helped me through my spotty period.

AVON %26amp; GARNIER awnser to all your questions.

Washing face (follow this routine twice a day to wash your face the correct way.

1-Steam your face with HOT water all over for about 2 minutes to open pores.

2-*At night* use cleanser and massage into skin for about 60 seconds.

3- Leave 60 seconds

4- Rince thoughroly

5- Follow by splashes of cold water to close your pores, allowing dirt, and oil unable to enter the pores.

Follow everything i said- you'll be on your way to a clearer complexion in no time. I had blemishes and now im blemish free!

Any Questions? Just post me an e-mail. Good Luck :D

Avon spots creams- immidiate responce bleimsh treatment 4/5. Clinique is also very good ( 3 step system). Avoid Clearasil, Oxy, Proactive and any others like that that are too harsh on the skin. Hope this helps. Remember that you have to give it a few months before the treatment really kicks in. :D x
I have very oily skin as well. I use Biore Revitalizing face wash and that's it. I try not to overdo it with products. Also, you should only wash your face twice a day. I was washing mine 3 times a day (because it gets so oily) and read an article that it makes it worse and since I stopped doing three times a day, I haven't broken out! When my face does get too oily, I just blot it with tissue.
I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub and NeutrogenaOil-Free Acne Wash. They are oil free which helps reduce the build up of oil and does not leave your face all greasy and shiny. It is also formulated to specifically treat acne.

You can buy it from and chemist
Proactive works really good.
An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/
