My dog has a sore that looks like a pimple underneath his chin what could it be?

Do you keep his food and water in plastic bowls? If so, try switching to metal. My cats had dry irritated skin and lost some hair on their chins a few years ago and someone told me to switch to metal bowls. I don't know what it is about the plastic that does it. I hope this helps your poor puppy.
