Is it necessary to squeeze/pop a pimple?

I know most people have told us not to.





But if a pimple is not popped or squeezed out... how will the pus inside be extracted? Where does the pus go?Is it necessary to squeeze/pop a pimple?

It is not a good idea to pop a pimple, but sometimes it can be so unsightly that it needs to be done. If you decide to do it, put warm compresses on the affected area for at least 5 minutes prior to popping. Make sure your hands are clean and use a tissue to pop the pimple by gently squeezing (if you apply too much pressure you could bruise the area). After you have squeezed out all the pus and blood, apply a cool compress or ice wrapped in a wet wash rag. This will reduce the swelling. I do not recommend popping a pimple or squeezing it.


Since bacteria will go in, much easier.


Just leave it, it's not like no one has ever had it before.
